Gertrude Florence Merasty was born on Thursday, November 19, 1970, in Flin Flon, MB, and passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020, in Edmonton, AB, at the age of 49 years. Gertrude is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Josette Marie (Aaron Beboning) Merasty-Fournier; her grandchildren, Aniika, Adonis, Jasper; her sisters, Marlene Merasty, Wilma Merasty, Beatrice Linklater, Phyllis Merasty; her brothers, Joseph Merasty, Brian Merasty, David Merasty, Angus Merasty; father of her child, Randy Fournier; her aunts, Gertie Montgrand, Anne Merasty, Cecilia Merasty, Marie Nateweyes, Jane Merasty; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
