RCMP respond to hundreds of COVID-19 calls in March
The Saskatchewan RCMP are getting a new kind of call for service in response to the provincial Public Health Order issued on March 26.
According to a media release from RCMP, officers received 436 COVID-19 related calls between March 20 and March 30.
Between March 26 and 31 Saskatchewan RCMP received the following calls related to COVID-19:
· Fifty seven complaints of social gatherings of over 10 people, which resulted in seven warnings issued and one charge laid.
