Percy is survived by his loving family, his loving wife of 25 years, Mary Merasty (nee Sewap); his brothers, John (Marlene) Merasty, Jonah (Stella) Merasty, Nelson (Crystal) Merasty, Stanley (Lisa) Merasty, James D. Ballantyne; his sisters, Nancy (George) McLeod, Ida (Eddie) Swan, Caroline Merasty, Margaret Merasty, Alice Merasty; his sisters-in-law, Maggie Merasty, Annabelle (Norman) Eyres, Jane Merasty, Verna Merasty, Elizabeth (Larry) Custer, Sally (Phillip) Custer, Lynda Custer; his best friends, Pierre Sewap, Adam Custer; his aunties, Angelique Custer and Harriet Jean Ballantyne; his numerous nephews, nieces and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Angus & Angelique (nee Ballantyne) Merasty; his special adopted son, Stephen Custer; his in-laws, Pierre & Angelique Sewap; his grandparents, Mary Ballantyne, David Merasty, Albert Ballantyne, Jean Ballantyne (nee McKenzie); his twin brothers, William Julius Merasty, Elias Andrew Merasty; his brothers-in-law, Henry Sewap and Thomas Sewap; his sister-in-law, Louisa Sewap; his adopted brother, Peter Sewap; his aunties & uncles, Laura (Phillip) Sewap, Betsy (John) Custer, Sarah (Roderick) Ballantyne, Ida (David) Ballantyne, Helen (John) Sinclair, Ida (David) Custer, Lydia (Arthur) Ballantyne, Isaac (Sally) Ballantyne, Stanley Ballantyne, Emile (Elsie) Merasty, Andrew Ballantyne, Moses (Flora) Ballantyne. The Wake Services for Percy will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 and Sunday, March 29, 2020, at the residence of Alice Merasty, in Pelican Narrows, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, March 30, 2020, at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, in Pelican Narrows, SK, Reverend Richard Custer and Reverend Elias Ballantyne officiating.
