Mathew Ballantyne was born on Thursday, December 3, 1936, Palf Creek, SK and passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in Deschambault Lake, SK, at the age of 83 years. Mathew is survived by his loving family, his sister, Mary Roberts; his daughter, Kimberly Engen; his son, John (Ann) Ballantyne and their children, Olivia and Stuart; his stepson, Stonewall Thomas; his brother-in-law, Adam Hardlotte. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and God children. He was predeceased by his parents, Jonas & Naomi Ballantyne; his siblings, Rhoda Hardlotte, Angelique Casperson, Betsy Charles, Daniel Ballantyne, Larry Ballantyne, Flora Ballantyne, Margaret Ballantyne; his nephews, Howard Hardlotte, Ambrose Hardlotte, Leonard Hardlotte, Michael M.J. Ballantyne; and his niece, Tanya Bear. The Prayer Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020, River Park Funeral Home, Prince Albert, SK. Bishop Adam Halkett is officiating. The Wake Service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Deschambault Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020, at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Deschambault Lake, SK with Bishop Adam Halkett officiating.
