SaskPower outage to affect R.M. of Buckland customers Thursday

SaskPower customers in the R.M. of Buckland will be without power this Thursday.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Crown corporation will conduct routine maintenance.

“It’s just some equipment changes. Some older stuff is being swapped out, some newer stuff is being put in. The outage is just so we can do all of that safely,” Scott McGregor, media consultant with SaskPower said. “The outage is expected to affect 350 customers.”

McGregor explained equipment changes happen routinely and crews are well prepared to do this type of work, no matter the conditions.
