It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorne Park, son of Roy and Marion Park, who was born on Tuesday, November 15, 1932, in Parkside, SK. He passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the age of 87 years, at the Whispering Pine Place Nursing Home in Canwood, SK. He is survived by his daughter, Lanette (Alphonse) Chretien and their children, Jaylyn (Chris) Howell and their children, Emberlyn and Kaden; and Jadon Chretien (Stacy White). His daughter, Trudy (Dale Pocha) and children, Shane (Savannah) Price and their children, Zachary, Sawyer and Bailey; Chad (Kelsey) Price and their son, Jaxson; and Shawna Price; his younger brother, Leonard (Louella) Park; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Roy and Marion Park; his older brother, Richard; and some very special friends.
We will never forget his unique and amazing sense of humor. He always had a smile on his face, and it was contagious. He was all about the simple pleasures in life; he just wanted to be surrounded by his family, good music, a roaring diesel engine and a lunch, about every 20 minutes or so.
The Funeral Service for Lorne will be held at 1:00pm, on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Canwood Elks Hall, 640 2nd Ave, Canwood, SK.
