Saskatoon man wanted by Edmonton police

A Saskatoon man is wanted by Edmonton police in connection with the second degree murder of Daniel Barata, 41, in Edmonton.

Homicide investigators issued a warrant to arrest Eddie Charles Binning as they believe he was involved in Edmonton's most recent homicide, which occurred in the early-morning hours on May 23, on the city's north side.

Binning is described as an Aboriginal man with a slender build and short brown hair and it police say he may have returned to Saskatoon.

Two other suspects already charged and in custody are Byron Crane, 28, of Edmonton, and Kevin Charles Witchekan, 29.
