Fresh flurries: Snow continues to fly
Prince Albert motorists will continue their battle with snow to start the week but Environment Canada said they are not alone.
Snow is blanketing much of the province with amounts being reported in the local area; Prince Albert (1-2 cm), Holbein (3.8 cm) and Christopher Lake (2.5 cm).
“When everything is said and done, when the snow tapers off on Tuesday, Prince Albert could get upwards of five or six centimeters of snow,” Meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada, Terri Lang predicted. “[After Tuesday], there will be a bit of a break. Maybe more light snow on Thursday, another break then it looks like more snow on Sunday. It’s that time of year now.”
Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to stay well below normal in the short-term.
