PAPS investigate shooting, home invasion over weekend

Prince Albert Police officers are investigating another shooting and home invasion that occurred over the weekend.

On Saturday afternoon around 1:30 p.m., investigators attended the 1000 block of 13^th St. W. after receiving a report of a man shot in the leg. Paramedics took a 30-year-old man to hospital following the incident.

On Sunday evening around 7 p.m. officers attended a home in the 400 block of 20^th St. E. A woman reported two men entered her home while she was making supper. She said the men assaulted her and stole a small amount of cash prior to leaving.

Both unrelated incidents remain under investigation.
