Thinking of Starting a Business?

Two Programs from Community Futures

Sep 9, 2019 | 9:21 AM

1. Sponsored by Community Futures Saskatchewan’s Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP)

Launching a business?

Chances are you’ve got many of the basics covered. You know what you’re selling, you may even know who you’re selling to. You’ve most likely got your logo down, and even have your webpage and social media handles set up. And perhaps, if you’re ahead of the game, you’ve got your business plan drafted. But what about your numbers? Your forecast, your pricing strategy, cost of goods, your break-even? Not nailing them down at the beginning will impact whether your business flies or flops.

This Bootcamp is hands-on and provides you with the opportunity to create your own list of thoughtfully-projected and defendable startup expenses using the templates provided. In addition to start up costs, this Bootcamp also helps you to:

  • Determine Asset vs. Operating Expenses and why it matters
  • Owner’s Contribution: Tracking and recording owner paid expenses
  • Working Capital Requirements: How to determine the capital required, and how to incorporate them into startup costs.
  • October 2, 2019
  • 1:00pm – 4:00pm
  • $20.00 per person
  • PACF Office – 5B 598 15th Street East
