Domestic violence cases climbing in Prince Albert
The Prince Albert Police Service is encouraging anyone experiencing violence or abuse in a relationship to seek help and report it.
The awareness initiative comes as the number of related incidents recorded by police remains high. Year-to-date there have 196 reported incidents. May represented the worst month with 37 and there 32 in July.
“We recognize the courage it takes to come forward, and we are committed to supporting victims and survivors with compassion and respect.” says Chief Patrick Nogier. “By working together with our community partners, we can prevent violence, strengthen support systems, and ensure people get the help they need.”
