Police to update investigation into disappearance of Peyton Flett

Prince Albert police are expected to provide an update today on the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of 14-year-old Peyton Flett.

The Prince Albert Police Service will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. at its main station. Police said they will provide information about the investigation and appeal to the public for information that may help locate Flett. Representatives from the Prince Albert Grand Council and Shoal Lake Cree Nation will also be in attendance.

Police issued a new call for public assistance on Aug. 6. According to police, investigators learned Flett was last seen either June 16 or 17 in the area of Marquis Road and Central Avenue.

She was wearing a grey and red hoodie, blue Christmas pyjama pants and a black fanny pack. She is five feet three inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
