Two people found dead in suspected wildlife incident near McTavish Lake

Two people have died in what officials are calling a suspected wildlife-related incident near McTavish Lake, located about 90 kilometres north of La Ronge.
La Ronge RCMP received a call on July 15 about a suspected wildlife incident in the area. During the investigation, two individuals were found deceased.
The Conservation Officer Service’s Wildlife Human Attack Response Team has been deployed and is working with the Coroner’s Service and RCMP as they investigate.
Conservation officers are working to identify and locate the animal or animals that may have been involved.
