Police respond to incident in West Flat neighbourhood

A tense situation on Sunday in a Prince Albert West Flat neighbourhood.

Shortly before 5p.m., the public was advised of an increased police presence in the 800 block of 12th Street West. A number of roads in the area were blocked off and a number of police vehicles were observed at the scene.

At 10p.m., police issued a second statement, confirming they had left the area.

No further details were shared including whether anyone was arrested.
