TORONTO — Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey has been named the WNBA’s Eastern Conference player of the week.
Mabrey tied the WNBA single-game scoring record with 53 points Thursday in a victory over the Los Angeles Sparks.
She also matched the league record with nine three-pointers in that game.
The Tempo’s 125 points set a new WNBA record for most points scored in a regulation game.
