Prince Albert man charged after cocaine trafficking investigation
A 38-year-old Prince Albert man is facing drug trafficking-related charges after police said a search north of the city turned up cocaine, cash and other items linked to the drug trade.
The Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team concluded a drug trafficking investigation on the evening of June 24, when officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a trailer court north of Prince Albert.
Police said the man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of trafficking cocaine.
During the search, officers seized $13,800 in Canadian currency, 59.7 grams of cocaine that had been pre-packaged into 1.6-gram baggies, 7.6 grams of psilocybin, two digital scales and other paraphernalia police described as consistent with drug trafficking.
