Riders, Argos set to clash in early season CFL showdown at Mosaic Stadium
The Saskatchewan Roughriders will look to continue their hot start during the Prairie Blizzard game.
Saskatchewan is 2-0, and will take on the 1-1 Toronto Argonauts at Mosaic Stadium on Friday. The Riders will be in their white Prairie Blizzard jerseys, as they are technically the away team in the game. This will count as one of the Argos’ nine home games this season due to BMO Field being in use during FIFA for the World Cup.
Kickoff for the game is set for 7 p.m.
Toronto is led by quarterback Chad Kelly, who is off to a torrid start, throwing for more than 400 yards in each of his first two games. The last time any quarterback produced back-to-back 400+ yard games was Damon Allen in October of 2005.
