Prince Albert police investigate separate shooting incidents
Prince Albert police are investigating a pair of firearms-related incidents that occurred over the last couple days.
The first happened on Sunday at a business in the 2600 block of Second Avenue West.
Officers respond shortly after 11 a.m. and found damage to the building consistent with bullet holes. A preliminary review of surveillance footage showed multiple shots were fired at the business at about 3:37 a.m., where a black SUV was seen driving away from the scene. The Police’s Patrol Division and Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate.
A day later, at around 4:30 a.m. Monday, police were called to the 1000 block of 17th Street West for report of a loud bang consistent with a gun shot.
