Dobersheck was killed in a Melfort hotel back in March of 2024. Her long-term partner Cody Chubey is on trial for second-degree murder.
“We’re showing up here today to push for recognition of her life and for justice. This is incredibly important to us because she leaves behind three young children who shouldn’t be enduring this kind of pain. They not only lost their mom, but they’re losing their father in this trial too,” said Dobersheck’s aunt, Dinah Marion.
