Man charged after pedestrian struck in Prince Albert parking lot

A 31-year-old man is facing several charges after a vehicle allegedly struck a pedestrian in a parking lot in Prince Albert and fled the scene.

Prince Albert police were called to the 1600 block of Second Avenue West at about 6 p.m. on May 27 for a reported collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Police said a 40-year-old woman suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to hospital for treatment and was reported to be in stable condition.

Investigators gathered information about the suspect vehicle and driver while officers searched the area.
