Man charged after car rolls onto West Flat lawn

A 22-year-old man is facing an impaired driving charge after a car lost control and ended up on its roof on a lawn in Prince Albert’s West Flat. 

Prince Albert police were called to a home in the 1800 block of 13th Street West on Sunday just before 4 p.m. 

Police found a heavily damaged vehicle on the lawn of the home, rolled onto its roof, with all airbags deployed. 


The driver of this car has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

Four occupants of the vehicle fled before police arrived, but all were soon identified and located, then taken to Victoria Hospital for medical assessment.
