P.A. Outlaws return to action this weekend following hiatus
The Prince Albert Outlaws will return to the floor this weekend for the first time in over a year.
The senior lacrosse team will make their 2026 Prairie Gold Lacrosse League (PGLL) season debut on Saturday when they host the Saskatoon Brewers at the Kinsmen Arena. The team went on hiatus following the 2024 season after requesting a leave of absence from the league, though no reason for the request was ever shared.
After their season and home opener versus Saskatoon, the Outlaws will welcome the Winnipeg Blizzard for their first ever meeting on May 10. Then, the team will kick off a three-in-three weekend, beginning with the Moose Jaw Mafia on May 29, the Regina Heat on May 30, and they’ll end weekend with their first road game of the season in Fort Qu’Appelle on May 31 against the Standing Buffalo Fighting Sioux, who are the defending champions.
