Loud chants of “we want the cup” and “let’s go Raiders” filled the air Monday morning outside the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert.

Dozens of hockey fans donning jerseys, flags and noise makers lined the curb to give the Raiders a proper send off as they head for Medicine Hat.

Mike Scissons, business manager for the Prince Albert Raiders, told paNOW the organization continues to be blown away by the constant support.

“This morning is just another example of the pride and passion our fans have for this team. It is incredible to see fans of all ages all wearing Raider gear and wishing our guys well as they head to Medicine Hat,” he said.

“Having the arena sold out, the merchandise flying off the shelves, and the 50/50’s continuing to draw provincial and national attention is something we are so grateful for. Our supporters prove day in and day out that they are the most loyal and dedicated fans in the league, and we are so happy to be able to play in front of them.”

Game three of the best-of-seven series goes Tuesday night in Medicine Hat. The series is tied at 1.
