The Prince Albert Police Service have charged two men following an investigation involving firearms at a residence on the city’s west side.

In March 2026, members of the Criminal Reduction Team (CRT) identified that Jefferson Jobb, 35, was residing at a home in the 1600 block of 13th Street West. Jobb is known to police and was wanted on outstanding warrants for being unlawfully at large.

In April 2026, investigators determined that Jobb had returned to the residence and was believed to be in possession of a firearm. On April 16, 2026, a Criminal Code search warrant was obtained for the residence.

Due to the elevated risk, the Emergency Response Team (ERT), with assistance from RCMP ERT, was deployed.

Shortly after ERT was in place, seven individuals exited the home, including Jobb. All were taken into custody without incident and transported to Prince Albert Police Service. One youth was taken into the care of Social Services.

As a result of the search warrant, police seized:

  • A semi-automatic sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun
  • 30 grams of cocaine
  • Two air-powered handguns

As a result of the investigation, Jobb and 39-year-old Timothy Iron, have been charged with several firearm-related charges. Jobb was additionally charged with Possession of Cocaine.

Members of the Saskatchewan Trafficking Enforcement Team, Prince Albert Police Service Crisis Negotiator Unit, and the Proactive Policing Unit assisted in the investigation.

The Prince Albert Police Service would like to thank RCMP ERT for their assistance in safely resolving this incident.

Jobb made his first court appearance this morning in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
