Two women charged in aggravated assault case

Prince Albert Police have arrested two women in connection with the assault of a third woman in the 500 block of 13th Street East on Friday.

Officers were called to a reported assault in an alley just after 5 pm and found a suspect vehicle nearby. They arrested the two women without incident.

The victim was found in a nearby residence with serious injuries. She was taken to hospital by EMS where her injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening.

Investigators said that the victim was assaulted in the alley by two suspects but managed to flee and seek help.

Evidence was collected at the scene and the vehicle was seized for further examination. As a result of the investigation, the two accused have each been charged with aggravated assault and forcible confinement.

They made their first court appearance April 13, 2026 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
