Update 7:30pm: The police operation in the Kemp Crescent area of Prince Albert has now concluded and members of the public are no longer asked to avoid the area.
According to a statement from the Prince Albert Police Service, further updates will be provided as they become available or upon conclusion of the investigation.
Earlier in the day, a section of McIntosh Drive and the north end of Kemp Cres. was blocked off.
Member of the city’s police service and the Marshalls were observed at the scene, which included a large tactical armoured vehicle.
