Muskoday home invasion suspect arrested after one month on the run
A man on the run from police for over a month after a violent home invasion on Muskoday First Nation has been arrested.
Chance Smith, 27, appeared Friday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court and was remanded to next Thursday for a possible bail hearing.
According to information shared by police he was arrested at a house on the reserve and had brass knuckles in his possession.
As a result of the incident on Jan. 24, two men were taken to hospital, including one with serious injuries. The victim was reportedly stabbed four times.
