16-year-old girl shot and killed at Prince Albert home: sources

A 16-year-old girl has been shot and killed in Prince Albert..

That coming from multiple sources connected to Thursday morning’s incident in the 900 block of 12th Street West.

A woman who lives nearby told paNOW she was awoken the sound of a gunshot and later saw the body being removed from the property.

“I’m not really shocked because police are here steady but it’s sad,” she said.

The neighbour said her husband saw someone running down the alley.

Police have not confirmed the girl’s death and in response to a request for comment from paNOW replied they will provide a further update on the investigation when available.
