Man responsible for car jacking and flight from police avoids trial by entering guilty pleas
A man who made good on a promise to continue his criminal ways, unless allowed to serve a sentence at a rehabilitation facility, is now awaiting sentencing on his new charges and likely facing a much stiffer sentence.
Jordan Jenkins, 26, appeared Wednesday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court and by way of his lawyer, entered guilty pleas to a number of charges related to armed robbery, dangerous driving, flight from police and possession of a weapon.
The two matters were initially scheduled for trial.
In June, 2023, Jenkins was responsible for a car jacking in Prince Albert. The victim was threatened with a long barrelled rifle.
