Free bus rides on first day of school

The wheels on Prince Albert transit buses will turn for free on the first day school. The city is once again allowing free rides on September 3 as students head back to class.

Following that, students can still get passes for a discounted rate at certain locations.

Monthly passes are available at Carlton, St. Mary’s, Wesmor and Prince Albert Collegiate Institute.

New semester bus passes are available for post-secondary students to buy at SaskPoly or city hall.

Drivers are also being reminded that school zones come back into effect on the first day of school, which means slowing to 30 km/h during the day.
