Waskesiu business owner charged with sexual assault, drugs
The owner of Pete’s Terrace, a family restaurant at Waskesiu Lake has been arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault, according to RCMP.
On July 19, RCMP received a report of an alleged sexual assault in Waskesiu, the resort village in Prince Albert National Park. After an investigation, police arrested 52-year-old Dory Graae in connection.
Pete’s Terrace is a popular stop for tourists and its Facebook page says it has been serving in the community since 1989.
RCMP also executed a search warrant at a residence in Waskesiu as part of the investigation. There police found a small amount of cocaine and trafficking paraphernalia. Police also charged Graae with one count of trafficking as a result.
