Pelican Narrows woman dies in rollover near Prince Albert

A 32-year-old woman from Pelican Narrows has died after the vehicle she was a passenger in was in a rollover in the RM of Buckland on August 4.

Prince Albert RCMP said the rollover was on the Whitfield Road and happened just before 9 a.m.

The woman who died was a passenger in the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.

The 33-year-old woman who was driving and a 25 year old man who was also a passenger were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Buckland Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene on the gravel road with seven firefighters and two vehicles.

Firefighters helped paramedics with patients and removed one person from the vehicle and helped put them in the ambulance.

Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.

They were a 33 year old female and 25 year old male.
