
P.A. man facing two child porn charges
A 30-year-old Prince Albert man had his first court appearance this morning on several charges of having child pornography and one count of making it available.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit searched a home on Wednesday, July 4 and after examining several devices, Tyrone Bishop was charged. The residence had been identified as where the offences had been occurring.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
Bishop will make his next appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on July 31.
