Head announces run for Ward 3, Don Cody not on deck this fall

Current Ward 3 Councillor Tony Head will be running again this fall, saying there is still work to be done in his ward.

“I’m definitely seeking re-election in Ward 3 and it’s been a quick term. The last four years have flown by. I’m definitely wanting to ensure I get to be a strong voice for Ward 3 again,” Head told paNOW.

He was first elected in 2020, beating incumbent Evert Botha and another former councillor, Lee Atkinson.

Head said he takes his top issues from his voters and their biggest concern is crime and social issues that lead to crime.

Also on Monday, Don Cody, former mayor and elected councillor for Ward 4 in 2003, said he will not run again in the fall.
