Group of five men attack victim in late night robbery

A 34-year-old man was taken to Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert with non-life-threatening injuries after being attacked late Wednesday night.

It happened just after 10:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of 2nd Avenue West. Police were called to a business parking lot for a report of a robbery. The victim had been approached by a group of five men, one of whom was on a bicycle. Police said the victim was attacked with a large edged weapon and had personal property taken.
