After some thunderstorms rolled through Saskatchewan overnight, Environment Canada is warning that more thunder and lightning could be coming on Wednesday.

The weather service issued severe thunderstorm warnings and watches for parts of central and eastern Saskatchewan on Wednesday, saying meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm which could produce nickel-sized hail and heavy rain.

“Large hail can damage property and cause injury,” Environment Canada cautioned.
