P.A. man one of two people charged in 2020 Saskatoon homicide case
Almost four years after 23-year-old Eagleson Thomas was killed in Saskatoon, a man and a woman are facing charges.
On September 15 of 2020, Thomas’ body was found in a home on Avenue G South in Saskatoon, and police determined he was the victim of homicide. Before his remains were found, Thomas was last seen on August 14, 2020, and a missing person report was made on Sept. 10.
On May 28 of this year, police said a 27-year-old woman was arrested by Edmonton police. She was transported to Saskatoon where she was charged as an accessory to murder after the fact. She made her first court appearance on May 29.
Then, on Wednesday, police in Prince Albert arrested a 41-year-old man on a warrant related to Thomas’ death. He was also transported to Saskatoon where he was charged with first-degree murder.
