A man has been charged with second degree murder and four counts of attempted murder from an incident in La Ronge in 2019.

Because he was 14 at the time of the shooting that led to the death of Jeremy Bird (age 26), the accused man cannot be named.

The accused man was arrested on June 1 by the Saskatchewan Major Crimes unit and made his first court appearance in La Ronge Provincial Court this morning.

In 2019, RCMP said that shots were fired into a motor home around 3:30 in the morning.
