Mar 1, 2024 | 1:00 PM

The lights are expected to go out again in Prince Albert and surrounding rural areas soon.

SaskPower has scheduled two planned outages, the first on Saturday morning and the second on Monday morning, and both are expected to last from 6-6:30.

The outage will cover the entirety of Prince Albert, like the planned outage on Feb. 20.

Other properties affected are in the rural areas west to Buckland, north to Redwing and east to the Forks. SaskPower said this is being done for system maintenance.

Other planned outages are scheduled for Sunday starting at 9 a.m. in Middle Lake, Saint Benedict, and surrounding areas. Those outages are expected to last from one to two and a half hours.
