Fundraiser supports woman who lost children, grandparents in Davidson fire
An online fundraiser has been set up to help a woman who lost her three children and both her grandparents in a house fire in Davidson on Sunday.
According to a GoFundMe page established by Jennifer Pratt and Kelsey VandenHoek, the donations will help relieve the financial burden of funeral costs for their childhood friend Kristyne Klassen.
“This fire took the lives of her three young children Andrew, William and George as well as both her [grand]parents Pauline and Michael Woodcock,” the organizers wrote.
“No parent should have to endure burying their child. There is no measure to the loss and devastation that is having to lay your entire family to rest. We are hoping to alleviate some of the financial burden of the funeral costs through the generosity of others.”
