PA man wins $500,000 lottery prize

It won’t fit under the tree, but a Prince Albert man is still buying himself a brand new truck for Christmas after winning $500,000 on a scratch lottery ticket.

Emile Tessier was in Hague truck shopping on December 11 and decided to cash in a COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS ticket and buy a second one.

“I went for coffee with my aunt and started scratching the ticket,” he explained. “I couldn’t believe my eyes.”

Along with the truck, Tessier is hoping to buy some land outside of the city and says the winnings help make that happen.

Tessier bought his ticket at the Shell gas station in Hague.
