P.A.’s Klassen named WHL’s Player of the Month in November
Prince Albert’s Gabe Klassen has been recognized by the Western Hockey League (WHL) as the Player of the Month for November.
The Portland Winterhawks captain has been putting up big numbers as the season’s halfway point approaches, scoring 25 points (7g, 18a) in 11 games to lead the entire league in points during the month of November.
During the month, Klassen managed seven multi-point contests which was highlighted by a five-point night on Nov. 8 in Kamloops and two four-point efforts on Nov. 1 in Medicine Hat and Nov. 10 in Vancouver. Also in the month, he was able to string together a four-game point streak from Nov. 19-25 where he scored 10 points (2g, 8a) in that span. November also saw the Veteran win the WHL Player of the Week on Nov. 13.
