P.A. senior accused of having child porn released on bail

A senior facing multiple charges including making child pornography, sexual interference, and sexual assault has been released from remand.

Brian Campeau, 68, was granted bail in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday.

He will have to pay $1,000 bail money and was told he must not be around anyone under 16, including his alleged victim unless he is with an approved adult.

He also must not have any computer or device that can connect to the internet unless it’s for work or education purposes.

Campeau was charged by investigators with Saskatchewan’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit, which includes officers from Prince Albert, Saskatoon, and Regina Police Services and the RCMP, after a search warrant was executed on a residence in Prince Albert in June.
