Crescent Heights crash sends five to hospital

The cause of a police investigation on Sunday morning in the 1000 Block of 22nd Street East was the result of a single-vehicle accident that sent five people to hospital.
Just before 1:00 a.m., Prince Albert Police responded to the crash that happened near the Cooke Municipal Golf Course and upon arrival, they found that the vehicle collided with a power pole.
As a result of the incident, the five people involved were transported to Victoria Hospital with various injuries while the 22-year-old driver was later transported to Regina via STARS air ambulance with injuries described as serious.
PAPS’ Criminal Investigation Division and the Forensic Identification team are both investigating the incident.
