Nov 16, 2023 | 8:06 AM

The Prince Albert Raiders couldn’t quite complete the comeback Wednesday night as they fell 4-3 to the Everett Silvertips.

The Raiders trailed 4-1 before forward Sloan Stanick scored twice the pull the Raiders to within a goal. But Everett was able to kill off a late 6-4 to hang on for the win on home ice.

Niall Crocker had the other goal for the Raiders while Teague Patton, Austin Roest, Carter Bear and Jesse Heslop scored for the Silvertips.

Chase Coward had 39 saves for the Raiders in the loss.

The Raiders are now 3-2 on their seven-game road trip and are 12-10-0-1 on the season so far.

The Raiders will be in Portland Friday night to face Winterhawks with puck drop slated for 9 p.m. Saskatchewan time.

They wrap up their road trip against the Wenatchee Wild on Sunday at 6 p.m.
