“The technology has come so far on all machines,” said Warkentin. “The new fuel injection engines are running more fuel efficient and burning less oil. Everything now has either velocity shocks or high travel suspension. Electric start and reverse are standard on most models now. Some even have a seven-inch touch screen display giving you the option to map your ride, see where your friends are and text them.”

We’ve been around a long time, so we know which snowmobiles are best for which area and we can take the guess work out and ensure you get the best machine for you,” said Warkentin. “Whether it’s a particular brand or a certain colour you’re after, we’ve got something for everyone including the 120 machines for youth, so your kids are taken care of too.”

Snowmobiling has become a great family pastime, bringing people outdoors and interacting with nature and each other. Plus, it’s great exercise. Warkentin said nothing creates lasting memories more than a fun day out snowmobiling, sharing laughs and enjoying the scenery while having a weiner roast at one of the dozens of warm-up shacks in the region.

“Rally has donated towards shacks and the trail systems, and from Prince Albert you can go anywhere from Saskatoon to Candle Lake or Waskesiu. Everything is marked so it’s a safe way to travel and its definitely become a more family driven sport that everyone can enjoy together.”
