Prince Albert police identify homicide victim
The Prince Albert Police Service has confirmed the identity of the city’s fourth homicide victim this year.
Nicole Laurin, 37, was found on Oct. 6, suffering from serious injuries. She later succumbed to her injuries at Victoria Hospital.
Police had initially been called to a residence in the 300 Block of 13th St. E. for a weapons complaint.
A second victim, a 31-year-old woman, was driven to hospital by an acquaintance and was also suffering from serious injuries stemming from the same incident. There’s been no update with respect to her condition.
