Big River RCMP arrest man wanted for assault

A man wanted by Big River RCMP for an alleged assault has officially been arrested.

Elvis Dreaver was found on Friday in a home in the Town.

It’s alleged he damaged a home in the Town and lit a fire inside back on Oct. 10. He then assaulted one of the occupants of the home.

He’s facing one count of assault and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order. Dreaver was previously charged with arson, mischief, and assault with a weapon.

He’s scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday.
