Rider Legend George Reed immortalized with section at Mosaic Stadium

The Saskatchewan Roughriders celebrated the life and legacy of CFL legend George Reed on Saturday during the team’s game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Prior to the game, Reed’s daughter Georgette was given a moment to address the crowd.

Georgette expressed her gratitude during the heartfelt address.

It was announced that Reed would be given his own section — section 34 in honour of the Rider great’s No. 34.

A video tribute to Reed was also played.

White No. 34 jerseys were also seen on the Riders’ sideline during the game.

The team sported No.34 patches on their jerseys during the game.
