P.A. real estate sales drop, benchmark price increases
The amount of homes bought and sold in Prince Albert in the last month has dropped compared to a year ago, but the benchmark price has increased.
Despite ongoing uncertainty in a post-pandemic economy, local realtor Jesse Honch says he’s not worried, pointing out some of the major infrastructure projects happening in the city.
“The hospital is probably the most important thing to happen to this city ever. The expansion of that hospital is going to bring a lot of good paying jobs to the city,” Honch said.
When it is done in the next few years, another 500 jobs will be added to the local economy and those are the types of jobs that boost the local real estate market.
